The top of the HCC Player of the Year race remains crowded as the regular season enters its final stretch, with established leaders continuing to produce while several challengers strengthen their resumes.
This week, however, belonged to Fishers junior Carter Strole.
Biggest Mover: Carter Strole (Fishers)
Strole delivered one of the biggest offensive weeks of the season, going:
6-for-9 (.667), 8 runs scored, 8 RBI, one double, two home runs, and five walks.
The outburst fueled a 13-point jump in this week’s evaluation and pushed Strole firmly into the upper tier of contenders.
For the season, Strole now sits at:
.356 AVG | 26 H | 23 RBI | 10 doubles | 4 HR | 1.131 OPS
The week was massive, but it also built upon an already strong season.
Aiden Reynolds (Noblesville)
Reynolds continues to lead the conversation behind one of the most complete offensive profiles in the conference.
.418 AVG | 33 H | 27 R | 24 RBI | 5 HR | 1.224 OPS
He continues to combine elite average, power, and run production while maintaining consistency throughout the season.
Reid Zittel (Zionsville)
Few hitters have been as steady as Zittel.
The Zionsville senior is batting .434 with 33 hits, a 1.111 OPS, and has struck out only four times all season.
His contact ability and consistency continue to keep him firmly in the race.
Clayton Lenz (Avon)
Lenz continues to quietly build one of the strongest all-around resumes in the conference.
.361 AVG | 30 H | 28 R | 14 XBH | 1.026 OPS
His extra-base production remains among the conference leaders.
Jackson Bixler (HSE)
Bixler has been one of the catalysts for HSE’s high-octane offense.
He enters the week hitting:
.400 AVG | 36 H | 29 R | 20 RBI | 1.047 OPS
The combination of average and run production continues to stand out.
Parker O’Steen (HSE)
O’Steen remains one of the most dangerous extra-base threats in the conference.
His season line:
.349 AVG | 21 RBI | 13 XBH | .466 OBP | 1.032 OPS
His ability to impact games in multiple ways keeps him near the top group.
Andrew Noble (Westfield)
Noble has emerged as one of the breakout names in the conference.
The sophomore is hitting:
.397 AVG | 27 R | 18 RBI | .547 OBP | 1.076 OPS
His on-base ability has been exceptional.
Jaden Mitchell (Avon)
Mitchell continues to produce at a high level for Avon.
.424 AVG | 28 H | 20 R | 1.080 OPS
His consistency has kept him firmly in the contender tier.
Beck Jordan (Westfield)
Jordan continues to put together one of the strongest run-production seasons in the HCC.
.426 AVG | 26 RBI | 1.067 OPS
His RBI total remains among the conference leaders.
As always, these evaluations provide a snapshot of the current Player of the Year picture. The race remains fluid, and with the regular season winding down, every series matters a little more.
